I think a great teacher is someone who knows when to encourage, is always supportive, and also knows when to gently push you a little past your comfort zone. Amandine does all this and more. Working with her has been so much fun and is very motivating. I recommend her very highly!

Amandine is always prepared and comes to each lesson with a fantastic amout of energy. I find the lessons are improving both my confidence in speaking and my listing skills. Amandine always provides a good balance throughout. She tailors each lesson to my mood which is a really a blessing as balancing learning a language with full time work can be a challenge but Amandine makes the lessons something I look forward to rather than see as a chore. All round great teacher!

Amandine is incredible. Not only is she a phenomenal teacher but she brings a level of empathy and engagement to every conversation that leaves you feeling as though you'd just hung out with a friend for an hour, rather than experienced a lesson of some sort. Our conversations are full of laughter - she makes falling on your face an utter joy and somehow manages to turn everything into a teachable moment.

Amandine is an extremely open person and it is very easy to discuss with her any topics that interest you - this is the most important quality to practice your speaking skills! I am personally an introvert, and I thought it would be very difficult to find common topics to cover during our lessons, but now I don't have to worry about it, the discussion flow is very natural - as if you are speaking to your friend. She also gives very good feedback and you are not afraid to make mistakes - Amandine will give you hints of how to state some ideas in a better way to sound more French ;)
